Playoffs Enterprise vs. Maeser Prep

The Lions could not put up much of a fight.  The Wolves blew out Maeser Prep  19-0 in the first quarter.

The Wolves were led by Tressa Lyman with 15 points, followed by Yajaira Ramirez with 11, Jodi Williams with 9, and Taylor Phelps with 8.  The Wolves were able to get significant playing time to all including the four freshmen.  Josie Mitchell scored her first varsity points including a 3-point buzzer beater.

TheWolves advance to State  Record 21-1

Enterprise @ Cross Creek February 10, 2011

The final game of the regular season found the Wolves looking forward to a perfect record.  The Wolves coasted to an easy win, 52-27.  Jodi Williams and Tressa Lyman lead the scoring with 13 each on a low minute game for them.  Others received extended minutes.  Freshmen  Madison Holmes, Josie Mitchell, Jaycee Reber, and Dakota Robinson saw their first varsity action of their careers.  The Wolves now 10-0 in Region and 20-1 overall look forward to the State Playoffs.

Enterprise vs. Kanab February 8, 2011 47-34

The real Kanab showed up tonight. A tough game that the Wolves needed to get ready for State.  Senior Night for our Seniors; Riley Hutchings, Jodi Williams, Tressa Lyman, and Shalee Farnsworth.  After honoring them, the Wolves came out a little flat.  The Cowboys started the game going up 7-0 in the first few minutes.  The Wolves fought back scoring 9 straight by holding the Cowboys scoreless for over 5 minutes.
The Cowboys regrouped hitting some big shots and led the Wolves at half-time by 1.  The 2nd half was another battle, but better passing and execution allowed the Wolves to score 33 points in the 2nd half.  Tressa Lyman scored a career high, 34 points to lead the Wolves, the same amount that Kanab scored.
Tressa also hit 17 of 21 free throws.  Final Score Enterprise 47  Kanab 34

Cheyenne came in and gave us some good defense and energy.

This technical free throw was a critical momentum changer.  Tressa made 17 of 21 free throws.

Behind the hot shooting of Summer Terry and Taylor Phelps the Wolves got out to a comfortable 1st half lead.  Summer hit 2 3's in the first 3 possessions.  Taylor after missing her first 2 threes, hit 5 shots in  a row to score 12 in the first half.  The 2nd half belonged to the Posts.  Jodi Williams scored 12 of her 15 ponts in the 2nd half, and Tressa Lyman scored 6 of her points in the 3rd quarter.  Tressa, Summer, Taylor, and Jodi combined for 16 of 24 shots, (67%) from the floor.  Constant pressure from Summer and Yajaira caused multiple turnovers from the Rams.  Enterprise went on a 23-5 run over a 12 minutes span.
